Little Red Riding Hood

We have been learning the story and songs about Little Red Riding Hood.

Click here for the story and songs from the BBC schools web-site.

Our last weekly walk this term

Our last weekly walk was a chance to think about how much the places we visit have changed through the seasons.  We have also been thinking about our own "mental map" of the places we visit, and where they are in relation to each other.  Thank you to all parent helpers who have made this year-long learning experience possible.

Pumpkin progress!

Today Lucy, Charlie, Lily and Balfour prepared our blog on the progress of our pumpkin seeds.
First we had to look at the plants to see if they were dry. If they were soaking we didn't need to water them.

Some of them were very dry.

Lucy supervises Charlie and Lily as they water the pumpkins.

Everyone took a turn with either the watering can or the spray bottles.

Now the plants are all wet.
Jayden's apple tree is still growing.

Balfour took a picture of the window, which is open to let the air in because greenhouses get really really hot.
