Our pumpkin seeds are growing!

We have checked the compost to make sure it is nice for the seeds to grow in.  It must be damp but not too wet.  We can feel with our fingers to check.  Today we did not have to add any water.  We will ask the Office staff to check our seeds over the easter holidays.

Look!  Some seeds have got shoots coming out of them.  Roots grow down into the soil.  Shoots grow up above the ground towards the light.
